The Agile Analyst

Published: 2011-09-12

Presented by: Tony Yunnie

BCom, Diploma Datametrics, Prince2 Foundation, SA Institute of Bankers Certificate

While Agile driven approaches to System Development have been in use in the Development industry for close to two decades there is still a lot of misunderstanding as to what Agile is and how a move to Agile impacts on the various Development roles.

This Seminar will position Agile. It will also address some of the myths around Agile such as, ‘Agile means no planning, no documentation and no control’.

It will then focus on the Analyst role and show that while the approach that the Analyst takes to her work will need to change to allow her to contribute successfully to an Agile team the underlying skills and abilities of a good ‘traditional’ Analyst are the same skills and abilities, albeit with some repacking, of an Agile Analyst.
