Empathy as a Project Management Tool

Published: 2014-02-05

In the crazy world of project management,
maybe it’s all about people

Presented by: Dr Mike O’Callaghan

BSc (Hon). MSc, MBL, PhD, PMP, MSP ITIL

Project managers are highly focussed and capable people. But they’re still people. And what’s more, they work with people. Indeed, if they do not include people on their projects, there wouldn’t be a project. But project management certification and training does not equip project managers to work with people. Simple people-focussed tools are the most powerful in the project managers’ toolbox.
