Take Ownership of your Project Management Career

In the ever changing world of work, where career and skills development are essential tools in career progression, it is essential that project managers take ownership of their careers. Often though, the process of planning your career and determining the best progression plan can be quite a daunting task. FTI Project Management and Leadership Portfolio Manager; Carol Mould will be assisting project managers to kick-start this fundamental process.  

Her seminar titled; Managing Your Project Management Career in 2015 will provide project managers with the knowledge and skills needed to take ownership of their careers.

The seminar is aimed at current and aspirant project managers, coordinators and administrators, their managers as well as HR business partners. By attending the seminar project managers will gain an understanding of what skills, competencies and experiences are required in order to advance in the fast-growing, internationally recognised profession.

The seminar will demonstrate how participants are able to take ownership of their Project Management careers, through careful planning and completion of various skills development programmes. The various types of career paths as well as the skill sets required for each Project Management position will also be discussed.  HR managers and people managing project managers will find out what skills their teams need to develop and learn how to wisely spend their training budget in the coming year.

The speaker; Carol Mould holds honours degrees in Information Systems and Psychology, and a Masters Degree in Organisational Psychology. She is also a certified PMP® (Project Management Professional), and qualified coach. Carol has substantial experience in project management, consulting and skills development across various industries.

Carol is an experienced facilitator, trainer, presenter and coach and she focuses on the development of project management talent and expertise in both individuals and organisations. She served as the Western Cape Branch President of the PMSA for several years and is currently an active member of PMI, PMSA, COMENSA and SIOPSA.
