CBAP®
Certification Preparation

This intensive four day workshop prepares you for the Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) exam, administered by the IIBA. You will be guided by certified facilitators through over 1000 sample questions and practical exercises and be given test-taking tips and strategies to increase your odds of passing this rigorous exam the first time.

This short course is current with the framework of knowledge outlined by the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK®)

Who should attend?

Any individual who wishes to pass the CBAP® certification exam and become a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®)

Course Information

Entry Requirements

You will need

  • 7500 hours of business analysis experience as well as specific minimum hours per Knowledge Area, to fulfill the IIBA® requirements
  • To be prepared to submit a separate application for the CBAP® exam and pay a separate fee
  • To follow our recommendation that you take the exam within three months of completing this short course
Delivery and Assessment

We use a blend of face-to-face lecturer-facilitated seminar sessions as well as discussions, exercises, practice exams and simulations to prepare you for the exam. You will need to:

  • Attend all four full days
  • Answer practice tests that simulate the exam
  • Participate in review discussions around sample questions and answers
  • Follow our recommendation that you take the exam within 3 months of completing this short course

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the short course you will have assimilated a vast body of information and learnt methods of recall and retention to pass the CBAP exam. You will also be able to:

  • Identify the critical principles, activities, tasks, techniques, and tips described in the BABOK®
  • Anticipate and be able to answer the four general types of questions that appear on the exam
  • Cite the core knowledge areas and their activities, tasks, deliverables and relationships
  • Measure your ability to successfully complete the exam through sample questions in each knowledge area
  • Dissect and understand tricky sample questions through guided discussion after every practice exam
  • Develop a personal test preparation strategy, employing various test-taking tactics
