Refund Policy

At Faculty Training Institute, we are committed to providing high-quality educational experiences.  We understand that sometimes circumstances change, and students may need to withdraw from a course.  This policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds for course fees may be granted.

 

General Policy

All payments made through our online platform are subject to this Refund Policy. By enrolling in a course and submitting payment, you agree to the terms set out below.

 

Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be granted under the following conditions:

  1. Cancellation Before Course Start Date
    • A full refund will be issued if a student cancels their enrolment at least 5 days before the official course start date.
  2. After Course Start Date
    • Once a course has begun, no refund will be issued, except in cases of:
      • Verified medical emergencies or personal hardship (documentation required)
      • Course cancellation or rescheduling by Faculty Training Institute
  3. Course Cancellation by the Institution
    • If a course is cancelled by Faculty Training Institute, students will receive a full refund of all tuition and fees paid.

 

Non-Refundable Fees

  • Registration fees, administrative fees, or material costs are non-refundable once payment has been processed.
  • Digital course materials (e.g., e-books, recordings, downloadable resources) are non-refundable once accessed or downloaded.

 

Refund Process

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing to refunds@fti.co.za within the eligible time frame.
  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original method of payment within 10–20 business days of approval.
  • Any transaction or processing fees charged by payment gateways are non-refundable.

 

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund after 20 business days, please check with your bank or payment provider first. If you still have not received it, contact us at refunds@fti.co.za for assistance.

 

Exceptions

In rare cases, Faculty Training Institute reserves the right to make exceptions to this policy at its discretion, in cases of documented emergencies or institutional errors.
